A few days ago Portland Trail Blazers all-star guard Damian Lillard received the following question on Twitter:
@Dame_Lillard if you could add one former Blazer in their prime to the current roster, who'd ya choose?
— Scott Krager (@scottkrager) August 29, 2017
His answer was simple:
B Roy https://t.co/qYv1W0tWm8

Brandon Roy has plenty to recommend him as a teammate: All-Star and All-NBA appearances, 20 ppg scoring seasons, ultra-clutch playoff performances, and he was an all-around cool dude. But would he be the ultimate addition to this version of the Trail Blazers lineup?
Portland already has Lillard, CJ McCollum, and Jusuf Nurkic in the fold. Today we’re asking you the same question that Scott posted to Damian: If you could add a single player from Portland’s past, in their prime, who would you choose? Tell us why they’re the perfect fit and how far you think the Blazers could go with them.
After that, stay tuned all day, as this afternoon we’re going to run all the Blazers-related stories we didn’t have room to fit during the week, including interesting news about a few of those same former Trail Blazers.
