Today on Twitter, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard responded to a fan regarding a dream-scenario addition to Portland’s roster. With up-and-coming center Jusuf Nurkic and first-round draft pick Zach Collins in the fold, Portland’s big man corps sports more potential than they’ve carried in years. But Lillard was still willing to name-check a bigger star:

This isn’t the first time Lillard has publicly expressed interest in players currently on other teams. Both he and C.J. McCollum actively recruited Carmelo Anthony to Portland and McCollum tweeted his admiration of Paul George earlier this offseason.
Davis is under contract with the New Orleans Pelicans through 2020-21, so Lillard will have to wait for a chance to play alongside The Brow.
