The NBA officially released the 2017-18 regular season schedule for all 30 teams. The Portland Trail Blazers will play the Phoenix Suns on the road in their opener on Wednesday, October 18th at 7:00 PM, Pacific. Portland will not play at home until their fourth game of the season, October 24th against the New Orleans Pelicans. Opening week will not be kind to the Blazers. After opening against Phoenix, they fly to Indiana to face the Pacers on Friday, October 20th then hit Milwaukee on the 21st for a matchup with the Bucks.

The Blazers will be featured on national TV for a full quarter of their schedule: 6 games on TNT, 5 on ESPN, and 10 on NBA TV. Their travel will be similar to last year, however the NBA has completely eliminated stretches of 4-games-in-5-nights.

The team’s first rematch with the Golden State Warriors, who eliminated them in the first round of the 2017 NBA Playoffs before going on to win the title, will come on Monday, December 11th on the road.

The team’s first matchup with Allen Crabbe and the Brooklyn Nets, comes on Friday, November 10th at the Moda Center.

As announced last week, the Trail Blazers will once again be left off the slate of coveted Christmas Day games.
