Reports are coming in across NBA media circles that the New York Knicks may be reconsidering trading star forward Carmelo Anthony, despite persistent rumors that they have been looking to move him to the Houston Rockets. Anthony trade talk has dominated discussion across the league for the past week, in part because of a rotating cast of secondary teams purported to be facilitators, making money and talent match. The Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, and New Orleans Pelicans have been mentioned prominently, along with a host of players switching uniforms. All of them will stay on hold for the weekend as the Knicks and Anthony regroup.
