The always-outspoken Evan Turner revealed some hopes for his Portland Trail Blazers via Twitter Thursday afternoon. The first two names on his mind? Carmelo Anthony and Paul George. When asked about the Knicks’ All-Star, Turner made it clear he’s a big fan of Carmelo’s potential next to Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum in Portland.
Yea I think he would help dame and cj a lot. That would be tough https://t.co/aIjYTl5eC2

Anthony has a no-trade clause and there have been no credible reports that he’d agree to a trade to Portland. However, he is seemingly on poor terms with Knicks President Phil Jackson, who openly stated that Anthony “is a player that would be better off somewhere else.”
Anthony, who has never averaged fewer than 20 points per game in his 14 seasons, finished the 2016-17 averaging 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.
Next, Turner joined the chorus of Blazers who would love to see Indiana’s George in Portland next season. He predicts, however, that George is heading to a different destination.
Buddy goin to Cleveland lol but it would be dope https://t.co/zMcouVNU0O

George averaged 23.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.3 assists last season, but the Pacers finished with only a 42-40 record, good for seventh place in the Eastern Conference. Indiana was swept by LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs. Turner did immediately back away from that prediction:
Idk if pg is really going to cleveland. I'm just talkin soooooo don't gas it. Thanksssss
