Day 5 of the Portland Trail Blazers’ pre-draft workouts was for prospects considered by most to be, at best, second-round picks. Since the Blazers don’t have a pick in the second round this year, it is not unreasonable to think that the Blazers expect to be in the thick of trade discussions on draft day.
Out of the players who worked out for the Blazers today, Caleb Swanigan and Thomas Bryant will probably be drafted highest. Both are projected to be selected in the first half of the second round.
Here is what media had to say about today’s prospects on Twitter.

Monday, Trail Blazers
Tuesday, Hornets
Wednesday, Celtics
Saturday, Jazz
June 22- NBA Draft
It is worth noting that Wednesday’s workout with the Celtics will be his second for the club, so it looks like he is receiving solid interest from Boston.

Justin Robinson, a 5’8” guard out of Monmouth University, and Kobi Simmons, a 6’5” guard from Arizona, also worked out for the Blazers on Monday.
If the Blazers acquire a second-round pick on draft day, do any of these players catch your eye? Let us know in the comments.
