Over the next few weeks, Blazer’s Edge will kick-start reviews of of each member of the Portland Trail Blazers. However, on a lazy Sunday afternoon, we wanted to ask our readers about one of the biggest question marks: Noah Vonleh.
As the featured “promising youngster” in the Blazers’ trade of Nicolas Batum, Vonleh arrived with high hopes, but also undeveloped skills. In the past two seasons, he has shown plenty of promising glimpses, but also stretches of poor play.
Late in the 2016 season, as injuries piled up (to Jusuf Nurkic and, to a lesser extent, Meyers Leonard), Vonleh played an active role in the stretch run, with highlight dunks and scrappy play. He even celebrated his first game-winning buzzer-beating shot in the NBA.

Vonleh, drafted the same night as Nurkic, will also have his first chance to negotiate his post-rookie contract next summer. The upcoming season will be the most important of his career.
So now we ask you: Based on his past performance, what is your expectation of Vonleh’s NBA future? Discuss this with your fellow Blazers fans in our comments.
