Evan Turner will be rejoining the Portland Trail Blazers in Atlanta tomorrow, according to CSN NW’s Jason Quick on Twitter. Quick also speculated that Turner will practice with the team on Friday.

Although no official word has been released, flying Turner to Atlanta to meet the team in the middle of a road trip suggests an imminent return to game action. The Blazers play the Hawks on Saturday in Atlanta, and square off against the Heat on Sunday in Miami.

Turner has missed the last 13 games since breaking his hand on Feb. 7 in a 114-113 win over the Dallas Mavericks. The Blazers have a 6-7 record in Turner’s absence.

Turner has averaged 9.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game in 50 appearances for the Blazers. He joined the Blazers as a free agent last July by signing a 4-year, $70 million contract.
