Fresh off a big win in Dallas, the Portland Trail Blazers have three games left before the All-Star Break. Tonight, they play the Boston Celtics on national TV. This is a rematch from a few weeks ago, when Portland pulled off the shocking upset in Boston.
Injuries: Evan Turner is out for 5-6 weeks. Moe Harkless is expected to start in his place. Boston is unexpectedly shorthanded; Avery Bradley is still out, but they will also be missing Jae Crowder due to personal reasons.
After some negative feedback for featuring music from The Lemonheads after the previous game against the Celtics, I thought I’d go a different direction and — LOL just kidding. Here are Boston natives Kim and Kelley Deal, and their band The Breeders, with their alternative-rock classic, “Cannonball”.
Ever wonder what happened to the Breeders? Exactly what you’d expect! Well, sort of. They still make music, and the old lineup is back together, touring and making a new album. But that didn’t prevent Kelley Deal from making an appearance on Lil Bub’s Big Show, singing to Bub herself. Now that all those kids are going to a Blazer game, perhaps send a little something nice to the organization featured in this clip, the Tree House Humane Society?
