Video Recap: Pistons Pound Blazers In Overtime, 120-113

Damian Lillard nearly got a triple-double, but it wasn’t quite enough to beat Detroit. Check out the highlights here.

NBA: Portland Trail Blazers at Detroit Pistons Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Another close loss for the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, as they battled into an extra period with the Detroit Pistons. Portland came back from a late deficit in regulation, and took the lead with less than two minutes remaining. But the Blazers’ late-game execution became an issue yet again, and Detroit took control, easily pulling away in the overtime period.

Damian Lillard was one assist short of a triple-double, and hit the coast-to-coast layup to tie the game with seconds left in regulation.

Earlier in the second half, a frustrated CJ McCollum got T’d up after voicing his frustration at the lack of foul calls. He promptly went on an offensive tear afterward.

The Blazers were led by Lillard and McCollum, plus Jusuf Nurkic.
