Gameday Thread: Portland Trail Blazers at Orlando Magic

After a quiet trade deadline, the Portland Trail Blazers play the Orlando Magic at the start of a short road trip. The early 4:00 (Pacific) game will give another chance to see Portland’s newest acquisition, Jusuf Nurkic. And it begins a crazy stretch of games with little rest during Portland’s stretch run, as they battle the improving Nuggets and freshly-Cousined Pelicans for the 8th playoff seed.

Injuries: Al-Farouq Aminu and Evan Turner join Festus Ezeli on the injured list. There are murmurs that Nurkic may get his first start tonight.

Today is the birthday of popular ‘80s musician Howard Jones. Amazingly, he’s 62! Here is an appropriate song for Blazer fans everywhere.
