With Damian Lillard on the injured list, the Portland Trail Blazers struggled against the Denver Nuggets all night, eventually falling. CJ McCollum (15 points) and Shabazz Napier (14) led the Blazers in scoring, and Pat Connaughton, Jusuf Nurkic and Zach Collins reached double digits. But it was irrelevant, as Denver kept Portland at arm’s length most of the night, eventually leading to boo-birds and early exits at Moda Center, while the benches finished the night.

What’s Next
A short trip to LA to play the Lakers tomorrow night, against without Lillard. But stay tuned, Dave Deckard will have more from tonight’s loss very soon.
