Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard will miss at least the next two games with a hamstring injury, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.com.

The injury will cause Lillard to miss Friday’s game versus the Denver Nuggets, as well the Saturday game against the Los Angeles Lakers as a precautionary measure. Lillard suffered the injury during Wednesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs.

Lillard is averaging 25.2 points per game this season, good for eighth best in the NBA. Trail Blazers Digital Reporter Casey Holdahl reports that Shabazz Napier enters the starting lineup tonight in Lillard’s absence.
