The Portland Trail Blazers ruled out Damian Lillard from Friday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets. Lillard injured his leg Wednesday night against the Spurs, temporarily leaving the game before returning for a fourth quarter stint.
Blazers are now calling Damian Lillard’s injury a right hamstring strain. He has been ruled out for Friday’s game vs. Denver.

After the Spurs game, Blazers coach Terry Stotts admitted that Lillard was hurting, and not very mobile. He was also visibly limping as he left the locker room.
Lillard is averaging 25.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.4 assists for the season. His status is unknown for Saturday night’s game against the Lakers in Los Angeles.
