Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic has been confined to the sideline for the last ten days, suffering an ankle injury on December 5th against the Washington Wizards. While he’s still listed as questionable for Portland’s game against the Orlando Magic on Friday, Nurkic may be on the cusp of returning, as these videos from Trail Blazers practice show.

Nurkic was ruled out of Portland’s previous three games well in advance of the contests. Being listed as “questionable” is an upgrade. He is averaging 15.1 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in 28 minutes for the Trail Blazers this season. The Blazers have accumulated a 1-2 record in his recent absence. They are 6-10 for the season in games where he has played fewer than 30 minutes.
