What a game in Utah, where the Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers played a close game all the way into overtime. In the end, Ricky Rubio hit the big shots, leading the Jazz past the Blazers 112-103 in the latest battle of the long-time rivals. Late in the game, Thabo Sefolosha kneed Jusuf Nurkic in the groin, leading to a technical foul, but apprently not a flagrant foul.
Ouch

In regulation, the Jazz were about to get the last possession, but CJ McCollum forced a Ricky Rubio travel, allowing the last chance at Blazer heroics. Lillard got off a floater... almost. The outstretched hand of Rudy Gobert tipped the shot, forcing the teams into an extra period. The Jazz were just too much in overtime, hitting multiple three-pointers to hold off Portland.
Neither team held much of an advantage all night, as the teams could not maintain a double-digit lead. Any lead was nearly-immediately countered by the opponent. The Blazers dealt with an injured player, as Al-Farouq Aminu hurt both his hand and his ankle at various times in the contest. His condition will be determined later.
The Blazers were led by Lillard, with support from CJ McCollum, and Jusuf Nurkic.
