After tweaking his ankle in a one-on-one drill Wednesday morning, Portland Trail Blazers center Meyers Leonard is doubtful to play in the team’s matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, Joe Freeman of The Oregonian reports:

Leonard has played in two of the Trail Blazers’ four games this season, averaging 5.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 8.5 minutes per game, and making four of six field goal attempts. Despite what has been described as a strong summer for Leonard, his role on the team has thus far diminished with two rookie additions to Portland’s frontcourt, even in the absence of power forward Noah Vonleh (shoulder), who is targeting a November 1 return.
If Leonard misses the Clippers game, his next opportunity to play will be against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, October 28.
