Trail Blazers’ in-house DJ, David Jackson, better known as DJ OG One, has retaken the turntables at the Moda Center after a harrowing recovery from the surgical complications that sidelined him in March. Removal of a cancerous tumor had initially left him sightless and without full function of his right arm, but the DJ was back in action just in time for the Portland’s home opener against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night.
Although Jackson has returned to his role with the team, he still not 100 percent. Check out this video report from Amanda Maynard of NBC Sports Northwest to learn more about his journey.
