Damian Lillard got some good news Wednesday before tip-off against the Phoenix Suns, as his new album, Confirmed, made Billboard’s list of the top-selling albums. He comes in at No. 72 on the list of 100 for the week of Oct. 28.
Lillard has racked up 3,000 equivalent album units for the week ending Oct. 12, according to Nielsen Music (which Billboard bases their list on).
Lillard’s first album, The Letter O, racked up 4,000 units in November 2016, coming in at No. 119 on the Billboard 200.
Dame D.O.L.L.A. appears on Confirmed alongside regular collaborators like Brookfield Duece and Danny from Sobrante, but also gets special appearances from Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz.
Lillard also appears on Billboard’s Emerging Artists list at No. 32. The rap (and basketball) star now has two studio albums in his discography, but also a slew of singles on his SoundCloud account.
He’s even started to sell merchandise, further solidifying his artist-ness and growing his Dame D.O.L.L.A. brand, with the promise of more on the way.
