Following their last preseason game, the Blazers cut ties with all three players they invited to camp: Anthony Morrow, Isaiah Briscoe and Archie Goodwin. Blazers beat reporter Casey Holdahl broke the news:
The Blazers have waived Anthony Morrow, Isaiah Briscoe and Archie Goodwin

Morrow averaged 4.8 points per game in five games this preseason. Goodwin averaged 6.2 points per game in five games. Briscoe averaged 6.2 points and 2.3 assists per game in six games.
Morrow’s preseason included an 8-21 (38%) three-point shooting performance. Conventional wisdom had him taking the last roster spot, given his ability to shoot the ball and Portland’s lack of perimeter threats following the Allen Crabbe trade. That was not in the cards.
The Blazers now head into the regular season with 14 players on the roster.
Following his waiver, Morrow took to Twitter to share his gratitude:
Thanks Portland it's been real! @trailblazers
