CJ McCollum’s strong play highlighted the 2017 Portland Trail Blazers Fan Fest, where his Team Black dominated Damian Lillard and Jusuf Nurkic’ Team Gray, 54-37. McCollum’s 15 points helped his team pull away, and led to MVP honors. In front of an entertained crowd, Team Black jumped ahead in the second quarter, and held back a small late run by Team Gray. Caleb Swanigan (13 points, 4 rebounds)continued his strong play from Summer League, and Isaiah Bricoe made his case for the 15th spot on the roster, with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Evan Turner and Moe Harkless sat out the game due to minor nagging injuries, but nothing serious.
