The Portland Trail Blazers’ 7:00 matchup with the Detroit Pistons tonight may be postponed due to weather conditions, according Rod Beard of The Detroit News. The league is monitoring the snowfall and icy roadways and will make a decision as needed.

It is worth noting that the Portland Winterhawks have already announced the postponement of their match with the Everett Silvertips tonight, and have moved tomorrow’s game from the Moda Center to the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum.

The most recent update from Joe Freeman of The Oregonian is that the game is still on at this point, but, of course, we will update this article when there is official word.

In the meantime, the players seem to be having fun with the prospect of an unexpected night off.
