Yet another ugly road trip ends tonight, this time in Boston where the Blazers make their yearly visit. The Celtics have recovered from their early season swoon and are playing well. However, they’re not at full strength.
The Celtics will be missing their defensive stopper, Avery Bradley, due to a sore Achilles tendon. The Blazers had a last minute scratch: Ed Davis is out due to a sprained wrist. There is no update yet on the starting lineup.
One extra note! Blazer’s Edge is onsite at TD Garden today. Our editor and writer Eric Griffith will be in press row, keeping you updated all day. He’ll have plenty of coverage here later tonight. For immediate updates, follow him on Twitter.
Now, on to a little music. Evan Dando and his band The Lemonheads became national darlings of the Alternative Rock scene in the early 90s, but it never translated to mainstream success. Their most famous album, “It’s a Shame About Ray,” was re-released when the band had an unexpected success with a cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson”. One member of the Lemonheads, Juliana Hatfield, went on to become an Alternative Rock success on her own, but that’s a story for another Celtics game. Here were the three most successful songs from The Lemonheads, featuring that very, very ‘90s look.

The Rules!
There are a few extra rules we emphasize for Gameday Threads. We appreciate your support!
1. No videos or pictures please, including embedded stuff from Twitter.
2. No discussion of streams that aren't sanctioned by the NBA, or how to work around broadcast/streaming rules.
3. No swearing please. Yep, even when the game sucks or the refs mess up.
4. Be excellent to each other! For visitors from our SBN companions, please have a mutual respect and remember this is a Blazers community.
