The Portland Trail Blazers continued their free agent maneuvering this morning, signing center Greg Stiemsma to a training camp contract according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

The soon-to-be 31-year-old played for four different teams in a four-year NBA career between 2011-2015. His most productive season came in 2012-13 when he played in 76 games for the Minnesota Timberwolves, averaging 4.0 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16 minutes. The 6'11", 260lb center began his career in Boston, also playing in New Orleans and Toronto. He's averaged 3.2 points and 3.3 rebounds in 15 mpg during NBA tenure, shooting 51% from the field. Shot blocking is his calling card; he carries a career average of 2.7 shots blocked per 36 minutes.
Stiemsma did not play in the NBA last season.
