The Utah Jazz soundly defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 86-71 in Summer League action in Las Vegas on Wednesday night. The Blazers are now eliminated from the Summer League Tournament. Portland was led by 18 points from Pierre Jackson. Tibor Pleiss paced the Jazz with 20 points. Shabazz Napier did not play after sustaining a shoulder injury yesterday in Portland's double OT win over the Jazz.
The Blazers have a final Summer League game on Friday against the Boston Celtics at 3:00 PDT. The game will be broadcast on NBA TV and available online via ESPN3.
