TMZ: Meyers Leonard Being Courted By Toronto Raptors

As free agency rolls through its first day, we see the first signs of interest in Portland Trail Blazers big man Meyers Leonard.

TMZ gave a rare non-Damian-Lillard-oriented Portland Trail Blazers exclusive this morning, showing pictures of Meyers Leonard meeting with Toronto Raptors head coach Dwayne Casey. Leonard is a restricted free agent, and his services are expected to be in demand. The Blazers have the right to match any offer he gets, and can go over the salary cap to do so. Here

Last season, Leonard averaged 8.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in Portland, while battling through a shoulder injury that eventually forced him to be shut down before the playoffs. His stock rose when his three-pointer became increasingly reliable, as he shot .377 on 228 attempts.

The Blazers have two other restricted free agents. Moe Harkless and Allen Crabbe, who is reportedly being courted by the Sacramento Kings and New Jersey Nets.
