Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical is reporting that the Portland Trail Blazers have reached an agreement with Boston Celtics swingman free agent Evan Turner.

The 6'7", 220 lb shooting guard-small forward averaged 10.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists for the Celtics in 28 minutes per game over 81 appearances last season. He holds career averages of 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists over 6 seasons with the Celtics, Indiana Pacers, and Philadelphia 76'ers. Turner is 27 years old.
The agreement comes as Chandler Parsons, Portland's initial target in free agency, is reportedly ready to sign with the Memphis Grizzlies.
