The Portland Trail Blazers' 2016 Summer League roster continues to grow as the team prepares for their trip to Vegas in July. Russ Smith and Jordan Bachynski have now committed to play, joining Scotty Hopson of the Foshan Long Lions and current Trail Blazers Noah Vonleh, Pat Connaughton, Cliff Alexander, Luis Montero, as well as the newly drafted Jake Layman.

Smith, a 25-year-old point guard, played in 15 contests for the injury hampered Memphis Grizzlies during the 2015-16 NBA season, averaging 1.5 points in 4.4 minutes per game, though he spent more of his time with the Delaware 87ers, where he averaged 28.1 points, 8.1 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game. The Blazers worked him out in early June as part of a free agent mini-camp.
Bachynski, a 26-year-old center, played for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Developmental League during the 2015-16 season. Standing at 7'2" tall, he averaged 13.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game. He played four years of college ball at Arizona State before going undrafted in 2014. Some may recognize him from the Toronto Raptors' 2015 Summer League roster.
The Blazers have little time to fill out the rest of their roster, as Las Vegas Summer League begins in just 11 days, running from July 8 to July 18.
