Blazers vs. Warriors, 2016 NBA Playoffs Game 5: TV Schedule and Live Streaming

The Blazers try to beat the odds and keep their season alive tonight.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors tip off Wednesday evening in Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Playoffs second round. The first two games were an exercise in futility for the Blazers, but they bounced back in the third.

In the first game, the Blazers never challenged, as Golden State established a 10-point lead in the opening minutes and never looked back. Portland lost by 12, but only due to points in garbage time.

In the second game, the Blazers definitely challenged, taking a lead as large as 17 points. But Golden State picked up their game at both ends during the fourth quarter, demolishing the Blazers to take a 2-0 series lead.

The third time was the charm for the Blazers, who controlled most of the contest and pulled away for a solid victory. They're still behind 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.

The Blazers nearly stole Game 4, but Damian Lillard badly missed a poor shot that could have won the game, and the Warriors ran away in overtime.

However, the Blazers have one more game tonight in Oracle Arena, where they face elimination. If they can't pull off the upset, summer has arrived.
