Blazers vs. Warriors, 2016 NBA Playoffs Game 1: TV Schedule and Live Streaming

New, comments

The Portland Trail Blazers and defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors meet in the playoffs for the first time in the teams' histories.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors tip off Sunday afternoon in the second round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs. The two teams met four times this season, with drastically different results.

In the first game, the Warriors came to Portland and demolished the Blazers en route to a 128-108 win. But in their second battle, just after the All-Star Break, the Blazers returned the favor. They ran the Warriors off the court in an unexpectedly-lopsided 137-105 victory. However, the Blazers still had to travel to Oakland twice to play on the Warriors' home turf. Those games ended predictably, with Blazer losses of 16 and 25 points.

This is the first time these two teams have met in the playoffs. The Blazers just finished a series against a team they met for the first time, defeating the Los Angeles Clippers four games to two.
