In a back and forth game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 1 of the playoffs Sunday night, both Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have hit deep threes from various cities in California. Lillard has been especially effective, knocking down 3 of 5 attempts to keep the Blazers within range at the half, 50-42.
The game has been tightly contested solely on the basis that the Trail Blazers have managed to hit from deep, 5-for-12, to offset a large free throw disparity, 18 attempts to 6 in favor of the Clippers. It appears that in order for the Blazers to have a chance tonight they'll need to continue knocking down threes of all shapes and sizes.
