Former Ohio State walk-on and current blogger Mark Titus reports that Greg Oden will return to the Buckeyes basketball team as a manager. The role would likely entail practicing with the team and not a whole lot else, but it sounds like a good fit for Oden. His best years were at Ohio State, so it makes sense that he would seek refuge from the limelight there after an injury marred professional career.
He's essentially just going to practice w/ the team and dunk all over OSU bigs. But still - he's technically joining the manager fraternity.

Oden was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2007, joined the Miami Heat for a season in 2013, and last played for the Jiangsu Dragons of the Chinese Basketball association.
