The third annual Florist City edition is nearly here. Damian Lillard and adidas are preparing to release the new D Lillard 2 colorway on March 18. Per adidas:
Damian Lillard introduces his third Florist City edition that represents Portland’s famous rose gardens and Rose Festival with an all-red D Lillard 2. The latest ode to the city’s favorite flower features a woven upper with a unique rose pattern and deep black contrasts. A clear graphic on the shoe’s upper panels deliver a droplet effect, while metallic Oak Print hits on the heel cap and lace lock cast a bold, reflective finish.

This design will be released alongside the Florist City edition of the D Rose 6, which is inspired by violets; the state flower of Illinois. You know what they say: Roses are red, violets are sort of a bluish purple.
The D Rose 6 details Illinois’ state flower, the violet, which is graphically printed on the upper with dark purple and black accents. Celebrating the arrival of spring, the silhouette is designed with gold hits on the lace loop, eyelets, webbing straps, signature branding and heel cap foil treatment. The Florist City edition also features a translucent black outsole with gold flecks.

The Florist City design of the D Lillard 2 and the D Rose 6 will be available at adidas.com for $105 and $140 respectively.
