In the second quarter of Sunday afternoon's game featuring the Portland Trail Blazers vs the Detroit Pistons, Damian Lillard hit a transition, pull-up 3-pointer that took him to 774 career makes. That made field goal broke a tie for second with Terry Porter for franchise's all-time 3-pointers made list, and puts franchise leader Wesley Matthews (826 3FGM) firmly within reach.
Lillard has made 2.56 3-pointers per game for his career, while Matthews was at 2.3 during his time as Trail Blazer. At his current rate, Lillard would meet/break Matthews' record in roughly 20 more games. That would theoretically take place around Game 1 or Game 2 of the 2016-17 NBA season.
