Tim Frazier Watches Blazers Game From the Stands

No longer a Blazer, Frazier stays connected with former teammates, cheering them on from the crowd.

Former Portland Trail Blazers guard Tim Frazier was in the building as the Boston Celtics hosted the Blazers Wednesday night. Having been released by Portland on February 18 to help facilitate a trade, Frazier has since re-signed on with the Maine Red Claws; a Celtics affiliate D-League team. While he may be on the other side of the country from his former Blazers teammates, he's making sure to keep in close contact.

The Red Claws play a little more than a 100 miles from Boston, so Frazier threw on a beanie and hoody instead of the usual black, red, and white road jersey and made the trip to Boston to cheer on his former team. While he was there he sat down with Jason Quick of CSNNW to discuss his relationship with Damian Lillard, how he handled being released at the deadline, missing the Blazers and more.

Note: In his second game back with the Maine Red Claws Frazier collected a triple-double, the fifth of his career and second in the D-League this season. Frazier finished the game with 24 points, 12 assists, and 12 rebounds.
