NBA.com reports that Meyers Leonard will have season ending shoulder surgery Friday, April 8th.
Portland Trail Blazers forward Meyers Leonard will undergo surgery to repair his injured left shoulder and will be sidelined for the remainder of the season, the team announced today.
The surgery is scheduled to be performed on Friday, April 8 by Dr. Neal El Attrache at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
A prognosis on Leonard's return will be made following the procedure.
Dr. El Attrache has performed surgeries for the Blazers in the past, including shoulder surgeries for both Nicolas Batum and LaMarcus Aldridge.
