Late in the third quarter of Saturday night's game featuring the Portland Trail Blazers and the Orlando Magic- Ed Davis was ejected for a Flagrant 2 foul on Orlando's Jason Smith. The media may or may not have insinuated that the foul was retribution for earlier transgressions committed by Smith

Earlier in the quarter, Smith and Damian Lillard went chest to chest after Lillard took exception to this play below.
In postgame interviews, the Blazers emphatically said this was not a retaliation incident.
Dame Lillard agreed Davis' foul wasn't retaliation. Lillard said he and J.Smith spoke after game and resolved issue about the moving screen.
