Fantasy Pick for Blazers-Rockets: Could Ed Davis Be Your Guy?

Ed Davis might have a big game against Houston.

Steve Dykes-USA TODAY Sports

Portland Trail Blazers Power Forward Ed Davis is a solid daily fantasy play in today's matchup against the Houston Rockets.

Davis is primarily a high value play in today's action. His salary is only $4000 and he is always a double-double candidate for Portland. The Rockets have given up the most points of any team all season to power forwards in FanDuel matchups, so tonight's opponent is also favorable for Davis. Heach Coach Terry Stotts will also likely have to rely on Davis to help stem the tide of Dwight Howard's rebounding tsunami, so Davis could see major minutes. With Noah Vonleh still questionable to start at power forward, Davis could see an even bigger minutes bump.

Alternatively, Al-Farouq Aminu played well in Portland's last game against the Rockets, collecting a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Aminu may also benefit from Vonleh's absence by inheriting playing time.
