NBA Trade Rumors: Greg Monroe Available For Right Price

The man the Blazers coveted so highly last summer is now being shopped by the Milwaukee Bucks. Does GM Neil Olshey explore a trade?

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Milwaukee Bucks center Greg Monroe was one of the Blazers' free agent targets last off season, and it appears as if the big man is being shopped by the Bucks ahead of the February 18 trade deadline.

Bucks' beat writer Gery Woelful outlines a possible shakeup to Milwaukee's roster in the coming weeks:

But Carter-Williams isn't the only frontline player the Bucks are apparently willing to move. A much bigger surprise is the Bucks have made known that center Greg Monroe is available at the right price, according to some NBA officials.

Portland GM Neil Olshey alluded to Monroe in a recent interview with Dwight Jaynes of CSNNW, citing the Blazers' rebuilding status as the main reason Monroe chose Milwaukee, a team thought to be on the rise.

At 25 years old, Monroe has averaged a career-high 16.6 points to go with 9.7 rebounds per game this season.
