Gameday Thread: NBA All-Star Weekend 2016

Hang out and chat about CJ McCollum, and I guess the rest of All-Star Weekend too.

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Update: The Western Conference won the All-Star game in a "shootout" (read: no defense allowed) by a crazy score of 196-173. Yes, seriously.

The MVP award was given to Russell Westbrook, who played the role of team gunner for the second straight year to claim the award. He led the West with 31 points.

Welcome to the Gameday Thread for NBA All-Star Weekend 2016! Here is the schedule of events. Streaming is typically available on TNT's web site.

Saturday:

5:00 pm | TNT | All-Star Saturday Night

First Event Skills Challenge (Won by Karl-Anthony Towns)
Second Event Three-Point Shootout (Won by Golden State's Klay Thompson
Third Event Slam-Dunk Contest (Zach Lavine repeats as champ)

Sunday:

5:30 pm | TNT | 2016 NBA All-Star Game

No Blazers are featured this year, but you're welcome to chat anyway. The 5:30 start time is relative; the NBA typically features a fair amount of pomp and circumstance before the actual tip-off.

Try to "enjoy" watching Kobe Bryant instead of Damian Lillard.
