Only a few games after being cleared to return, Al-Farouq Aminu again limped away from the court. The Trail Blazers forward landed awkwardly in a late defensive stand during Portland’s 88-86 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. His exact injury is unknown, but he placed his hand on his back as he exited. His status will be determined over the next two days, before Portland’s Saturday game in Indiana.
Aminu joins teammate Moe Harkless, whose ongoing status is unknown after injuring his ankle against the Bucks.
CSN NW’s Jason Quick gave a short report on Aminu’s status, casting doubt on whether he could play Saturday as well as Harkless and Ed Davis..
Stay tuned, we’ll have updates at Blazer’s Edge as we receive more information.
