Video Recap: Warriors Crush The Blazers, 135-90

It’s not New Year’s Eve yet, but the Portland Trail Blazers got smashed in Oakland tonight, courtesy of the Golden State Warriors. Check the “highlights” here.

We’re not going to do the typical recap tonight. Let’s just get to the point: The Portland Trail Blazers were absolutely crushed by the Golden State Warriors Saturday night. The Warriors stormed to an 18-point lead after the first quarter, and 25 at halftime. There were no hopes of a second-half comeback, as the Warriors quickly cruised to a 37 point lead, and extended garbage time. And Portland lost that quarter, too. Damian Lillard scored 20, Moe Harkless 17, and CJ McCollum 10 points, all irrelevant. In postgame interviews, head coach Terry Stotts couldn’t fake it very well anymore.

Whether you watched the game or not, you’re probably wondering what’s happening with the Blazers’ big men prospects. Here is some of Blazer’s Edge’s coverage from the last few days. Far more interesting than any coverage of tonight’s game.

What’s Next

The Blazers have a few days off to lick their wounds, and will finish their eight-road-games-in-nine-games trip with a stop in Sacramento against the Kings. Stay tuned, Dan Marang has the “honor” of giving analysis of tonight’s game.
