The Portland Trail Blazers’ Al-Farouq Aminu exited the game against the Phoenix Suns with a reported left quad injury. The play, which happened in the first quarter, looked innocuous in real-time. The team announced that he was diagnosed with a left-calf sprain.

The Blazers announced Wednesday afternoon that Aminu will not play against the Los Angeles Clippers.

After the game, Aminu told Mike Richman he wasn’t sure he’d travel with the team for Wednesday night’s game against the Clippers in LA.
