Damian Lillard sustained multiple injuries in the Portland Trail Blazers’ victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. The first injury occurred in the second quarter, when Lillard awkwardly jammed his left index finger on the court after being blocked by JaMychal Green. The second occurred in the third quarter, when Lillard turned his left ankle on the foot of Mike Conley.
Lillard remained in the game in each instance, but was visibly affected by the pain. Jason Quick of CSN NW reports that Lillard is still experiencing swelling and left the arena with his finger in a splint.

It appears that Lillard is alright and may able to continue on without missing time, but his hot start to the season could be cooled moving forward.
