Festus Ezeli will not be with the Portland Trail Blazers during the first part of their upcoming road trip, in order to seek a medical opinion on his left knee, according to Jason Quick of CSN NW.

Ezeli has been sidelined since August 23, when he received an injection of bone marrow aspirate concentrate intended to relieve pain and improve function of his knee. He is well past the initial six-week timetable for recovery, and the Trail Blazers have not hinted at an expected return date.
