The Blazers may have been blown out by the Golden State Warriors (see the recap and video highlights), but as garbage time arrived, the night was stolen by rookie Jake Layman. He scored 17 points on 5-7 three-point shooting, bringing the Moda Center fans to their feet in a lost cause.
Jake and the Blazers are back in action tomorrow night, against the Suns in Phoenix. Perhaps Jake will get more playing time in a happier scenario!
