ESPN Box Score: Blazers 98, Jazz 89

The Moda Center fans witnessed a good preseason opener for the Portland Trail Blazers, as they looked as comfortable and in-sync as they did during yesterday’s entertaining Fan Fest. The Utah Jazz looked like a team with the potential to put the pieces together and go on a run later this season. The Blazers held a double-digit lead for most of the second half, and the non-guaranteed-contract players took over in the fourth.

As always, Damian Lillard led the Blazers, and Allen Crabbe enjoyed a hot-shooting night off the bench. CJ McCollum, Moe Harkless and a pleasantly-surprising Shabazz Napier also scored in double-figures.

The Blazers have a few days off, and are back in action Friday night, at home against the Suns.

Hang out here and chat about tonight’s game. Later, Ryan Rosback will have extended analysis. In the meantime, here are a few highlights.
