Mini-Recap

The Portland Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz played in an untelevised preseason game in Salt Lake City tonight. After a close contest, the Blazers brought in their usual bench unit to close out the Jazz. Shabazz Napier sealed the win, sinking a three-pointer with two minutes left to put the Blazers ahead by six.

The Blazers were led by Damian Lillard’s 27 points and Evan Turner’s 15 points on 6-13 shooting. The only other player to score in double-figures was CJ McCollum, with 11.

The Jazz were without Alec Burks, Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors. Meyers Leonard sat out the game for the Blazers.

The Blazers finish preseason Friday night in Oakland, with a 7:30 pm game against the Golden State Warriors. Then the season starts Tuesday night, against these same Jazz in Portland!
