Video: Blazers Have First-Half "Block Party" Against The Kings

Portland hosted a block party during the first quarter of tonight's Blazers vs. Kings Game.

The Portland Trail Blazers hosted a block party during the first half of tonight's game at the Moda Center. Unfortunately for Sacramento, the Kings weren't invited.

Noah Vonleh started things out with some hustle, beating all of the Kings down court after a miss for a fast break lay-up. He followed it up with a block on the other end.

Al-Farouq Aminu joined Vonleh on the next play, and the two Portland forwards blocked two shots from Sacramento's big men.

Mason Plumlee picked up another block on the very next play. This one against DeMarcus Cousins.

These blocks served as an important retaliation for the Blazers after letting the Kings score in the lane with impunity early in the game.

If the Blazers hope to pull out the win tonight against a Kings team lead by Cousins, who has scored more than 100 points over the course of his last two games, they will need to continue to assert themselves in the paint.

Check back later tonight for full coverage from Blazer's Edge!
