The Philadelphia 76ers and Portland Trail Blazers face off in Philadelphia tonight. Blazers guard Damian Lillard is an appealing daily fantasy option.
Lillard has been on a tear of late. He is averaging 29 points, 9.6 assists, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.4 3-pointers per game over the last five contests. When a player like Lillard gets this hot, fantasy owners should ride the streak straight to the bank. Against a team as bad as the 76ers Lillard's recent performance makes him a must play. There is a good chance he will provide Steph Curry/Kevin Durant levels of production at a slightly lower price.
Alternatively, the 76ers have surrendered major points to forwards this season. Ed Davis is coming off a double double against the Nets last night and would be a cheap alternative to Lillard.
